BABIES and PRE-SCHOOLERS

Are welcome in our congregation! There is a children’s area on the right hand side of church with books, toys and colouring. Do not worry if your children make a bit of noise. Their voices are a blessing to us!

CHILDREN’S AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S GROUPS

We have 2 groups running for children and young people during part of the morning services in term times. The children attend one of the following groups according to their age. We are friendly and would love new members!

CHILDREN’S GROUP

We have a dedicated Sunday children group for those aged 4 -11 years.
This runs at St Martin’s Lounge during the 10:30 am morning service during term time.

TRAILBLAZERS YOUTH GROUP

For youth 11-18 years at St Martin’s vicarage during the 10:30 am morning service during term time. Our current group recently enjoyed preparation for their confirmation in September 2023.

We do lots of fun activities such as quizzes, games and crafts. We have eaten different fruits to help us remember the fruits of the spirit and made ‘manna’ and locust biscuits when we were learning about Moses and John the Baptist. We sometimes lead or help in the running of services, such as reading during communion or assisting with the technology.
