Charitable objectives
To relieve in cases of need, hardship or distress persons resident in the County of Cambridgeshire who are elderly or who suffer from mental or physical illness or disability or disorder and to that end to meet the financial, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of such persons and of the dependants and immediate families of such persons if they are also facing need, hardship or distress.
Trustees
St Martin’s Care Trust is a separate and independent charity from St Martin’s Church. However, written into the constitution is a stipulation that the Chair of the Trust must be one of the clergy from St Martin’s Church and a Churchwarden must also be one of the Trustees.
The Charity has 7 trustees who are responsible for the management and administration of the Charity on behalf of its beneficiaries.
Making an application to St Martin’s Care Trust for assistance
Any person wishing to apply for assistance from St Martin’s Care Trust may apply by email to: office@stm.org.uk or by telephone: 01223 519291, or complete this google form or the word document below.
You will be asked to complete a short application form which can be posted or emailed to you. Assistance may be provided by one of the Trustees if it is difficult for you to complete a form.
Following receipt of your application a Trustee will discuss this with you and decide whether you meet the criteria for assistance and what donation they are able to provide for you.
