Coronavirus information

12th March 2022 update

The PCC decided this week to downgrade our Covid-19 measures for our Sunday services in the church hall, as of tomorrow.

In the church hall the PCC no longer sees a requirement for social distancing in the seating arrangement and face-masks will now be optional.
Those seated in the church hall are asked to enter and leave by the main church doors.

Please note that we shall maintain our open windows policy to maximize air flow.
The dining room area will retain social distancing and mandatory masks wearing to accommodate those considered more vulnerable,
Those seated in the dining room area may continue to leave via the dining room fire door.

Please note that we will no longer keep a register to trace those attending our services and there will be no requirement to let us know by email that you wish to attend a service.
We shall also suspend the wiping of chairs after the service.

If you know you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive in the last week, please do a flow test before attending a service if this is available to you.
If you have Covid-19 symptoms please refrain from attending our church services.

Sunday services and other activities are mainly taking place in person and some are also on Zoom.

Sunday morning services are taking place in St Martin’s Church Hall or out of doors, and also on Zoom – contact us for the link if you wish to attend on Zoom.

Sunday evening services are in person only – back at St Thomas’s from 17th April 2022.

If you live in Coleridge Ward, visit the Coleridge Community Forum website if you need, or can offer, help or information.

If you have family or friends without internet access, they can dial into our morning service via Zoom (contact us for the information) and/or access the Church of England’s ‘Daily Hope’ phone line – information here.
